Since the 3rd of April 2009, our popular Internet Access Service, the KEW Internet Services, which include KEW Direct, KEW ADSL and KEW SDSL, have been upgraded significantly through route enhancement using the Russia Japan Cable Network ("RJCN")*. By utilizing RJCN, the latency ratio from Europe to the Far East, impacting the KEW Services, has been greatly reduced.
*RJCN: The highly robust 640Gbps submarine cable system installed between Japan (Niigata) and Russia (Nakhodka) in collaboration with Rostelecom - representing the first self-healing cable solution between the two countries.
This low latency service provides the perfect solution for those customers with systems requiring real-time interactive communications (e.g. financial dealing systems). It is also ideal for large content providers dealing with high volumes of traffic. The Round Trip Delays from the U.K. are shown in the chart and graphs below.
