A major London-based Bank is taking advantage of the continuing
trend for companies to conduct business away from the traditional
Western European centres.
They have opened a branch in Warsaw to conduct business in
the local market, and support the many foreign clients who
are running operations in Russia and the CIS.
The Bank had neither the resource, technical skill, or experience
to establish the IT infrastructure at their new Branch. To
enhance the efficiency of the project, IT systems and ongoing
support, KDDI are retained to provide a complete turnkey solution,
from system specification through to implementation and maintenance.
KDDI specified the data centre environment, structured cabling
system, IPT system, client server environment, voice recording
and wide and local area networking.
The Bank is therefore able to achieve significant cost savings
and efficiency by dealing with a single contractor – KDDI
Europe.
